Confirm org-wide app settings

  1. In the Teams Admin Center, go to Teams apps > Manage apps.
  2. Select Org-wide app settings.
  3. Ensure Allow interaction with custom apps is On (required for custom uploads).
  4. Select Save.

Allow the app in your tenant

  1. Open the app’s App details page.
  2. Set Status to Allowed and confirm if prompted.
  3. Select Save (if applicable).

Grant app permissions (admin consent)

  1. On the app’s App details page, open the Permissions tab.
  2. Review the listed Microsoft Graph / API permissions requested by the app.
  3. When the Microsoft sign-in/consent window opens, select Consent on behalf of your organization (if available), then choose Accept.

Next steps

  • Deploy the app to users or groups through Teams app setup policies if required.
